MY STORY . . .

I'm Lynn Lea, creator of CapeCoralRestaurants.net, and full-time resident of Cape Coral for 7 years. I want to thank you for visiting my site and tell you how it came to be.

One night, when my family was craving pizza and wanting to try someplace new, I tried contacting a local restaurant which I heard has fantastic pizza. Unfortunately, when I called their phone rang and rang. Not wanting to assume they were closed, I searched online for this restaurant, but only found an address and phone number (which I already had) -- no hours, no menu. Still wanting someplace new, I called another restaurant seeking out their menu - "can I view your menu online?" "Nope, but I can fax it to you." Well, that figures, my fax is not working - so I just ordered the usual pizza.

But they both got me thinking - wouldn't it be nice if there was a website for people like me in Cape Coral to see what local restaurants are available to us - both the favorites that have been around for a while, and new restaurants opening up?

And wouldn't it be nice to provide a place for these local restaurants to provide their menus and most up-to-date information without having to develop a full-scale website of their own? That was my goal in developing CapeCoralRestaurants.net, and I hope both diners and restaurant owners find it useful.
